Is there a history that can be verrified for quality in workmanship, financial security and quality in reputation.

2.  Do They Have An Office?

Confirm that the contractor has an office & if possible, check it out.  Some are opperating out of a truck or a home office.  You want a successful roofing contractor that has the ability to take care of your project and be there for the future of your warranty.

3.  Do They Have Liability Insurance?

Obtain a copy of the contractors liability insurance.  It is important to call the insurance agent and verrify that the insurance policy is valid and currently in force.

4.  Do They Provide A Lien Release?

Obtain a "Lien Release" upon payment in full.  This lien release will discharge any and all materials and mechanics liens related to your roofing agreement.
